Here’s how it works.
- Choose “Someone else” and enter their public name and your relationship.
- Get their permission, tell the story, and add specific goals and amounts.
- Connect your own Stripe account, publish, and share the registry.
- Receive and manage the contributions for their stated goal. Post updates so supporters can follow along.
Clear about the money.
You are the organizer and payout recipient. Your name and the person you are helping appear on the registry, and contributors are told you receive and manage the funds. Payouts go through your connected Stripe account—not directly to a separate recipient’s account.
Creating and sharing are free. Successful contributions carry a 4% platform fee plus Stripe processing costs. Contributions are voluntary gifts; funding is not guaranteed.
Want the recipient to receive payouts directly? They can create their own registry, connect their Stripe account, and add you as a trusted helper.
